SR-36 Renewed – Road Closures Update 08/20/15

SR-36 Renewed – Road Closures

200 North (Utah Avenue) East Leg Closed Through 8/22

The east leg of the 200 North (Utah Ave.) intersection will be closed through 7 p.m. on 8/22. This closure is to accommodate sewer line work. During the east leg closure, drivers should use Vine Street or 400 North.

Also, please remember the full intersection will be closed tonight from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.

East Side of 600 North Closed Through Early September

Our crews have encountered a conflict with the water line and storm drain pipe at the 600 North intersection.  In order to address the conflict, and complete the work necessary, we have closed the east leg of the intersection.  At this time, we do not know exactly how long it will take to resolve this issue but anticipate that the closure will not last over 14 days.  We’ll provide additional information as it becomes available.

This work will also include brief water shut-offs.  All properties impacted by shut-offs will be notified prior to the disruption.

1000 North East Side Will Remain Closed Through 8/20

Our crews originally planned to reopen the east side of the 1000 North intersection on Tuesday, August 18; however, the east leg opening will now take place by 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 20.  This extension of the closure time will allow crews to compete utility work and pave the east leg of the intersection.  Therefore, traffic will not be traveling on gravel and will instead be on new pavement upon reopening.

We thank everyone for their patience with us as we complete this work.
