Miss Tooele City Program
90 North Main Street
Tooele, UT 84074
On June 29, 2015 Brianna Lyman was crowned Miss Tooele City.
Brianna is currently attending the University of Utah and is a student of the Musical Theatre Program. Her goal is to graduate with a Bachelors of Fine Arts. Brianna is the daughter of Wayne and Heather Lyman.
Introduction: Brianna has lived in Tooele her entire life with her parents and older brother Jacob. She is a proud 2014 graduate of Tooele High School. Her love of performing arts started early when she participated in her first musical “Oklahoma” at the Benson Gristmill when she was 9 years old. She has since performed in 15 shows. She loves ballroom dancing, sushi, anything Disney related, Netflix, writing sappy letters to her boyfriend who is on a LDS mission, and spending time with her dogs, family and friends. If she looks familiar to you, it could be because she delivered a delicious Pizza Hut pizza to your home.
Why I Want to Be Miss Tooele City: “I have a strong memory of Tooele from my early childhood. It was a cool spring morning, and my dad woke me and my brother up early to go on an adventure. The three of us hiked to the top of Little Mountain and stood for a long time overlooking our beautiful Tooele Valley. It was the first time I remember feeling pride about my community, as my young eyes took in the splendor of the lake shimmering in the distance framed by the snow capped mountains. That feeling of pride and love has only grown over the years as I have interacted with Tooele’s great citizens, graduated from Tooele High School, and continue to live in Tooele while commuting to the University of Utah. I have had the privilege to travel to many places throughout the United States, and when I return to Tooele I always feel a sense of gratitude for what this town has offered me during my growing up years. I would consider it a great honor to represent Tooele as Miss Tooele City. ”
