Join the Tooele City Arts Council for the 2018 Home Decor, Summer, and 4th of July Craft Workshop on Friday, May 4, 2018 and Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Dow James Building.  For adults only.

Examples of the projects are on display at Tooele City Hall.  Note that projects will vary from the samples.

Join the Tooele City Arts Council for a “Woodworking Class – Cotten Pallet”.

For only $15 you will learn how to use power tools in a fully equipped wood shop to create this project. You will learn how to modge podge napkins to wood, crackle paint, stain, dry brush, and make realistic cotton decor.

Each individual will be provided with the materials to make the Cotton Pallet displayed in the photo above.

Learn to dance like the stars! Whether you want to improve to your ballroom skills or if you’ve never danced before, this basic ballroom class is for you. We plan to cover basic steps from the waltz, cha-cha, and swing. Bring your own partner.

Increase effective family communication, reduce anger and prevent alcohol use and problem behaviors.

Expand children’s roles and responsibilities in the family and help your child see their importance in your family circle.

GGC Summer 2018

Guiding Good Choices™ is a series of workshops (5 two-hour sessions) for families with children 9-17 years old.

The fun, interactive sessions help to improve family communication and bonding.  Practical methods are learned to reduce arguing and help avoid problem behaviors.  The result is a more communicative and compassionate home where all family members are involved.
