Summer Reading for ALL ages!
Jun 1 – Jul 31 all-day
Our summer reading program “Tails and Tales” begins Tuesday, June 1st and goes until July 31st. Using the online program, Beanstack, you can log reading minutes, complete challenges, earn badges, and claim drawing entries for fabulous prizes. All ages are invited to join us in a summer of fun. Register here to begin earning prize entries any time until July 31, 2021
Check out our You Tube channel and watch the Summer Reading 2021 playlist to answer any questions that you have while getting started. More videos will be posted in the upcoming weeks to help you maximize your summer reading experience.
Tween Tailgate

Outdoor games, a sack snack and lots of fun. Wear your favorite team’s shirt or colors.
Social distancing will be practiced. You may wear a mask, but it’s not required.

The Mayor’s Annual Benefit Golf Tournament 2021

Mayor Debbie Winn would like invite you to participate in the Tooele City Mayor’s Annual Benefit Golf Tournament this year on June 18, 2021!  We missed out on this event last year and we are excited to be back!  This year’s tournament proceeds will provide leadership scholarships for Tooele High School and benefit local youth recreation programs.  The attached flyer has more information about the tournament, and you can register online at //, or if you have any questions or are interested in additional sponsorship opportunities, please contact Cody Lopez at 435-882-4220.  There are limited spots available, we encourage you to register soon.  Thank you for your support and for being an outstanding community partner!

Exit 99

Exit 99 is a talented group of local musicians that hail from different parts of Tooele County. They have been sharing their passion, love for music, and entertaining fans since the band formed in 2011. Their unique sound provides a fresh spin and different perspective on popular country songs, classic old western favorites, and even some vintage rock. Exit 99 provides professional quality musicianship, and they’re sure to bring the house down!

The four lads joined in 1993 and have performed more than 1200 shows across the United States and abroad. Over the years they have had the privilege of sharing the stage with such notable acts as the Beach Boys, Jay Leno, Chicago, Three Dog Night, Carrie Underwood, Glen Campbell, Badfinger, America, the Mandrel Sisters, the Temptations, the Commodores, the Buckinghams and others. Among their many highlights would include performing at the Nokia Sugarbowl in New Orleans for a national TV audience, being the first act to ever perform at the USANA amphitheater in Salt Lake City, Utah and their 21 shows at the Shanghai Music Festival in May 2005

Some of their many satisfied clients would include: The US Air Force, US Navy, Boy Scouts of America, Coldwell-Banker, Chevron, Sinclair Oil Corp., Wells Fargo, Lion’s Clubs of America, National Order of Police, National Order of Firefighters, Shanghai Music Festival, Bowl Games of America, The Puyallup Fair, The Utah State Fair, The Big Fresno Fair, the Utah Symphony, Grand Junction Symphony and the Macon Symphony. Summer Fun Craft Pick Up
Jun 21 @ 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm

​Kits will be available for pickup on June 21, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Tooele City Hall, 90 North Main Street, in the basement classroom.  If you are unable to pick up on the 21st please call Holly at 435-830-2458 or email at for special arrangements.

Please remember that all samples just show one way that project can be done. The materials provided may not match exactly with what the sample look like. Basic paint colors. brushes, and embellishments will be provided with each kit. No refunds will be issued!  Samples can be found at Tooele City Hall. (90 North Main Street, Tooele).

Planning Commission Meeting

Planning Commission Meetings are generally held the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at Tooele City Hall, 90 North Main Street, Tooele, Utah at 7:00 p.m. and are open to the public.

We encourage anyone interested in joining the Planning Commission meeting electronically log on to the Tooele City Facebook page.  If you would like to submit a comment for any public hearing item you may email anytime after the advertisement of this agenda and before the close of the hearing for that item during the meeting. Emails will only be read for public hearing items at the designated points in the meeting.

Paint Night in the Park

Paint Night in the Park - June 24, 2021

In this class you will learn how to paint a pretty fireflies painting for summer!

This class will be held at the Englad Acres Park (880 North 400 East) at the pavilion.

Class starts at 6:30 pm.

The cost is $10.00 per person and includes all supplies (one 8×10 canvas, acrylic paints, & brushes).
