2nd Annual! #TakePrideTooele Day and Thank You Parade on May 22, 2021.

Do you know anyone who takes pride in their yard and their efforts help keep Tooele City looking beautiful?  If you do, please nominate them for a #TakePrideTooele Beautification Award and Tooele City Mayor Winn and Tooele City Council Members will present them their award during the Thank You Parade on May 22nd between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon!  SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATION HERE! Nominations will be taken until midnight on Sunday, May 16, 2021.  We will award as many nominations as possible; however, we may not be able to award all nominations.

Join us each Wednesday in May at 10:00 am for our virtual preschool story time.
This month we are getting excited about science!
A craft will be provided each week to enhance your preschooler’s story time experience.
Craft kits will be available at the library for pick up, all week.
Each Monday we will send you a Google Meet link for our story time.

Guiding Good Choices FREE Parenting & Family Workshops (Wednesday Nights)
May 26 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Guiding Good Choices™ is a series of workshops (5 two-hour sessions) for families with children 9-17 years old.

The fun, interactive sessions help to improve family communication and bonding.  Practical methods are learned to reduce arguing and help avoid problem behaviors.  The result is a more communicative and compassionate home where all family members are involved.

Free child care and dinner provided!  Families who complete the workshop will earn a $25 gift card!

Lit Loot Pick Up (Teens & Tweens)

Introducing Lit Loot boxes for teens and tweens 9 – 18 years old.
Lit Loot is a ‘subscription box-style’ book experience. Each box includes a library book, activity, DIY craft, treat, and other surprises in that month’s theme. Only the library book will need to be checked out and returned (by its due date). The remaining Lit Loot items are yours to keep.
This month’s Lit Loot theme is “Summer Campout”.
Register and your Lit Loot will be ready for pick up on February 26.

Pre-registration and current library card are required. Kits are limited and offered for teens and tweens only. (9-18 years old).

Memorial Day

We are forever grateful for those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.  Our deepest gratitude goes out to our fallen heroes.  May their courage and dedication never be forgotten.  Let us also remember those who had served and are serving to protect our country and our freedom.

Tooele City would like to wish everyone a Happy and Safe Memorial Day holiday!

Tooele City Offices will be closed for the holiday.

Trash will not be picked up on this day.  Trash pick up services will be delayed that week by one day, beginning with the holiday. If you have questions, please call 435.843.2150.  Thank you.

Memorial Day Services and Seek On Statue Dedication

Summer Reading for ALL ages!

Our summer reading program “Tails and Tales” begins Tuesday, June 1st and goes until July 31st. Using the online program, Beanstack, you can log reading minutes, complete challenges, earn badges, and claim drawing entries for fabulous prizes. All ages are invited to join us in a summer of fun. Register here to begin earning prize entries any time until July 31, 2021
