Join us each Wednesday in May at 10:00 am for our virtual preschool story time.
This month we are getting excited about science!
A craft will be provided each week to enhance your preschooler’s story time experience.
Craft kits will be available at the library for pick up, all week.
Each Monday we will send you a Google Meet link for our story time.

Guiding Good Choices FREE Parenting & Family Workshops (Wednesday Nights)
May 12 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Guiding Good Choices™ is a series of workshops (5 two-hour sessions) for families with children 9-17 years old.

The fun, interactive sessions help to improve family communication and bonding.  Practical methods are learned to reduce arguing and help avoid problem behaviors.  The result is a more communicative and compassionate home where all family members are involved.

Free child care and dinner provided!  Families who complete the workshop will earn a $25 gift card!

DIY String Art (Teen Time)
May 13 @ 10:00 am – 6:30 pm


Hammer and lace your own string art creation. Register beginning May 1 and stop by the library to pick up your kit on May 13. All instructions included for DIY success!

Registration required. This kit is available to TEENS and TWEENS (9-18 years old) only. One kit per person. Supplies are limited.

Kids Holiday Craft Pick Up – May
May 13 @ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

May’s Kids Craft Club Pick Up will include the supplies to make two crafts. Supplies will be available for pick up on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Tooele City Hall (90 N. Main Street) from 4:00-5:00 pm. in room 101. Instructions will be provided with your supplies as well as a video that will be posted on Tooele City Arts Council’s Facebook page. Space is limited! National Peace Officers Memorial Day

Blue RibbonPEACE OFFICERS MEMORIAL DAY

Peace Officers Memorial Day is observed annually on May 15th.  On this day, Tooele City would like to join the citizens of the United States to pay tribute to the local, state and Federal peace officers.  National Police Officers Memorial Day is part of Police Week.

National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcment officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.

City Council Meeting
May 19 @ 7:00 pm

City Council Meetings are generally held the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at Tooele City Hall 90 North Main Street, Tooele, Utah at 7:00 p.m. and are open to the public.  Work Sessions are usually held the same day prior to the Business Meeting at 7:00 p.m.  Check the agendas for the Work Session meeting time.

We encourage you to join the City Council meeting electronically by logging on to the Tooele City Facebook page at //www.facebook.com/tooelecity.  If you choose to attend, in person please maintain social distancing, limit the number of people that attend with you, and wear a face covering.

If you would like to submit a comment for the public comment period or for a public hearing item, please email cmpubliccomment@tooelecity.org anytime up until the start of the meeting.   Emails will be read at the designated points in the meeting.
