2nd Annual! #TakePrideTooele Day and Thank You Parade on May 22, 2021.

Do you know anyone who takes pride in their yard and their efforts help keep Tooele City looking beautiful?  If you do, please nominate them for a #TakePrideTooele Beautification Award and Tooele City Mayor Winn and Tooele City Council Members will present them their award during the Thank You Parade on May 22nd between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon!  SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATION HERE! Nominations will be taken until midnight on Sunday, May 16, 2021.  We will award as many nominations as possible; however, we may not be able to award all nominations.

Lit Loot Pick Up (Teens & Tweens)

Introducing Lit Loot boxes for teens and tweens 9 – 18 years old.
Lit Loot is a ‘subscription box-style’ book experience. Each box includes a library book, activity, DIY craft, treat, and other surprises in that month’s theme. Only the library book will need to be checked out and returned (by its due date). The remaining Lit Loot items are yours to keep.
This month’s Lit Loot theme is “Summer Campout”.
Register and your Lit Loot will be ready for pick up on February 26.

Chamber of Commerce Community BBQ 2021

Each year the Chamber of Commerce hosts this BBQ in conjunction with our Fridays on Vine concert series.  So come at 6:00 p.m. for the BBQ and then stay around until 7:00 for the “Superintendents of Rock” concert to listen to some great music!  Cost is $5.00/person.

The Superintendents of Rock

The “Superintendents Of Rock” was formed in 2015 by four practicing Utah school district superintendents.  They play for fun and stress relief and have performed at a variety of venues from small to large over the past 6 years. They play mostly cover songs from the good ol’ age of rock and roll classics. Come out and join them while they continue their efforts to “Stick It To The Man!”

Tooele County First Responders Breakfast

Free Breakfast for Tooele County First Responders!

The Ladies Community Club of Tooele and the Women’s Civic League invite the community to attend a First Responders Breakfast on June 12, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park (corner of Main Street and Vine Street).  First Responders eat free.  This includes Tooele County firefighters, law enforcement, and EMT personnel.  The community is asked for a small donation.  Bring your own blanket to sit on.  Proceeds benefit the Tooele City Volunteer Fire Department.

The Mayor’s Annual Benefit Golf Tournament 2021

Exit 99

Exit 99 is a talented group of local musicians that hail from different parts of Tooele County. They have been sharing their passion, love for music, and entertaining fans since the band formed in 2011. Their unique sound provides a fresh spin and different perspective on popular country songs, classic old western favorites, and even some vintage rock. Exit 99 provides professional quality musicianship, and they’re sure to bring the house down!

The four lads joined in 1993 and have performed more than 1200 shows across the United States and abroad. Over the years they have had the privilege of sharing the stage with such notable acts as the Beach Boys, Jay Leno, Chicago, Three Dog Night, Carrie Underwood, Glen Campbell, Badfinger, America, the Mandrel Sisters, the Temptations, the Commodores, the Buckinghams and others. Among their many highlights would include performing at the Nokia Sugarbowl in New Orleans for a national TV audience, being the first act to ever perform at the USANA amphitheater in Salt Lake City, Utah and their 21 shows at the Shanghai Music Festival in May 2005
