General Plan Draft Open House
Oct 6 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Tooele City is in the process of revising and modernizing our General Plan (.pdf draft). The Planning Commission is entrusted by Utah State Law to oversee and guide this process. The Planning Commission has been working for more than nine months on the development of new elements that have become draft of the General Plan. The Commission has held a joint meeting with the City Council to go over the draft and it is now ready for public review and comment. Copies of the draft General Plan are available at City Hall as well as electronically here for review and comment (If you choose to print this document, it is formatted to print double-sided, which is why there are blank pages in the document).

There will also be public open houses to review, discuss, and comment on the Plan scheduled for Thursday, September 17, 2020 and Tuesday, October 6, 2020. These open houses will be held in the City Council Chambers of City Hall from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

There will also be scheduled public hearings before both the Planning Commission and the City Council later in the year. We greatly encourage all interested citizens to participate as you feel comfortable doing so. We want to hear your thoughts on the General Plan as we look into the future for our community.

Comments and feedback can also be submitted below or by email at generalplancomment@tooelecity.org.
