Social Media Post for August Tooele Take Pride Thursday Fall Cleanup 2020

Show your pride in Tooele City by participating in the Tooele Take Pride Thursdays Fall Cleanup. Our first service project will be on Thursday, August 13, 2020. We will be working on the south side of Smelter Road between 7th Street and Overland Road.

We will be meeting at Elton Park Softball Field on the corner of 400 North and 7th Street at 7:00 p.m. Be sure to bring your gloves, tools, and a mask.   This project is next to the road. Volunteers will be issued a safety vest.

Watch for future clean up events on Thursday, September 10, 2020 and Thursday, October 8, 2020.

Fairy House Family Pick Up 2020

FREE to Families of All Ages. Pick-up your fairy house on August 31, 2020 from 5:00-6:00 pm at the Tooele Valley Museum. Spend the week building and decorating your house. Drop off your completed house on September 4, 2020 from 5:00-6:00 pm at the Tooele Valley Museum (35 N. Broadway Street). All houses will be on display for the community to enjoy.

Pizza will be available for volunteers at 6:30 p.m. and the cleanup will begin at 7:00 p.m. Be sure to bring your gloves, tools, and a mask. This project is next to the road. Volunteers will be issued a safety vest.

Family Dinner Drive Through September 2020

Join us for dinner, fun and prizes at the 2020 Save Family Dinner Drive-Through.
Be sure to register your family at https://forms.gle/e6tCJ9pxNno41TvB9.
Those who register will be sent the drive-through locations. Families will want to visit all five locations to receive dinner, prizes, and entertainment!

Tooele High School Homecoming Parade
Oct 2 @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Please Note:  Main Street will be closed between Vine Street and 200 South for the parade on Friday, October 2 from approximately 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please use alternate routes.

 

Parade

  • Begins at 5:00pm at the LDS Church located at 200 East and 200 South (across from the cemetery). The route will go west on 200 South, turn north onto Main Street to Vine Street, and then head west on Vine Street and end at the Tooele High School.

  • Participants will be required to wear masks.

  • No candy or handouts of any kind will be allowed.

  • Spectators should be socially distanced along the parade route.
