Fine Art Club – Summer 2020 (July Session)

Fine Arts Club - Summer 2020
Home is where the creativity is! This summer we will deliver the art to your front door!

Fine Arts Club will be an at home class this summer.  Each week we will feature a famous artist and include the supplies to create a similar masterpiece. Each session will last for 5 weeks.

On July 6, 2020 our instructors will deliver a bag with the supplies and instructions needed for each project. These kits will be delivered to your home between 9:00 am and 11:00 am.  Following delivery and on every Monday at 11:30 a.m. an instructional video will be posted on the Tooele City Arts Council’s Facebook page.  Participants will be able to ask the instructor any questions they may have regarding the project.  Please call 435.830.2458 if you have any questions.

This class is recommended for ages 8-12 years of age.

If you choose to register for session one and session two you will receive a free bonus art kit. Space is limited. Register today!

There are 2 classes in each session.  One class is geared toward children ages 3 – 8 and the other class is geared toward children ages 6 – 12.

If you choose to register for session one and session two you will receive a free gift bag with additional fun art supplies.  Space is limited. Register today!

Instructors will be available on Mondays from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.  You can ask them questions or ask for additional instruction through Facebook by commenting on the day’s instructional video post or through FB messenger.  If you need help after that hour, instructors will try to get back with you as soon as possible.

Participants will learn skills on how to best help and potentially save lives of loved ones.  This training is for anyone who would like resources on this important issue.  Participants 12 and older are welcome to enroll.

Show your pride in Tooele City by participating in the Tooele Take Pride Thursdays Fall Cleanup. Our first service project will be on Thursday, August 13, 2020. We will be working on the south side of Smelter Road between 7th Street and Overland Road.

We will be meeting at Elton Park Softball Field on the corner of 400 North and 7th Street at 7:00 p.m. Be sure to bring your gloves, tools, and a mask.   This project is next to the road. Volunteers will be issued a safety vest.

Watch for future clean up events on Thursday, September 10, 2020 and Thursday, October 8, 2020.

Fairy House Family Pick Up 2020

FREE to Families of All Ages. Pick-up your fairy house on August 31, 2020 from 5:00-6:00 pm at the Tooele Valley Museum. Spend the week building and decorating your house. Drop off your completed house on September 4, 2020 from 5:00-6:00 pm at the Tooele Valley Museum (35 N. Broadway Street). All houses will be on display for the community to enjoy.
