The Pratt Aquatic Center will be closed beginning Monday, February 17, 2020 through Saturday, February 29, 2020 for maintenance, cleaning, and repair.
We anticipate that the pool will reopen on Monday, March 2, 2020.

Online Kindergarten registration for the 2020-2021 school year will be available beginning Tuesday, February 18th @ 9:00 a.m. To register your student, go to www.tooeleschools.org, click on Families/Students and choose Registration/Enrollment then click the link to Register Online. Please remember that registration will not be complete until all required documentation is taken to your student’s school. If you do not have access to the internet at home, you may complete this online process at your student’s school February 20th or February 21st between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 we are no longer going to be opening the Dow James Building for walking in the mornings. Sorry for any inconvenience. This is effective as of March 19, 2020.
Come in from the cold! The Dow James Building is available for walking most weekday mornings from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. from October 15th through April 15th. This is a great service available during the winter months that we hope our residents will take advantage of and enjoy! Questions? Call Tooele City Parks and Recreation at 435.843.2143.

We’re going on a bear hunt – come along with your little one!
Movers and Shakers is a weekly library activity to keep you and your toddler moving together. Designed for kids ages 2 to 4 with their parents. Space is limited. Arrive early. Program repeats three times beginning at 10:30 a.m. or when full.
Do you love digital worlds and video games? Then you’ll love Gamer’s Group where you can PLAY OR CREATE! Every Friday, you can learn how to program computers, play games like Minecraft or Roblox – the choice is yours. Basically, you can have tech fun in your own space… all while gaining tech skills for your future.
Coding and gaming is all self-paced, so just attend on the weeks you can. Registration is not required. A computer is provided during club time. And you can bring your own laptop if you’d like.

Week 2: Lego Robots Create Lego Robotics
Week 3: Coding Club Coding challenges to build your skill
Week 4: Minecraft Build your Minecraft design skills

Want to use a computer to compose letters or stories? Microsoft Word is a popular tool for these tasks. In this course, you will learn valuable word processing skills like how to: create save, find, and edit documents; insert, delete, and format text.
(Prior experience with computers and an understanding of the Windows operating system is necessary to succeed in this course. Need more experience first? Ask us about other free computer classes available @ your Library.)
