Do you love digital worlds and video games? Then you’ll love Gamer’s Group where you can PLAY OR CREATE! Every Friday, you can learn how to program computers, play games like Minecraft or Roblox – the choice is yours. Basically you can have tech fun in your own space… all while gaining tech skills for your future.

Coding and gaming is all self-paced, so just attend on the weeks you can. Registration is not required. A computer is provided during club time. And you can bring your own laptop if you’d like.

Weekly Gamers Group Extras:

Week 2:   Lego Boost   Create Lego Robots
Week 3:   Coding Club   Coding challenges to build your skill

Discover how the path to success might not require a four-year degree with an online event for families and educators.

Hosted by KUED Channel 7 and UEN (Utah Education Network) with support from the UtahFutures American Graduate project and KUER 90.1, the virtual screening kicks off with Roadtrip Nation: Skill Powered, in which three young adults travel the U.S. to learn that rewarding careers and fulfilling lives can be built in many ways. Then Work-Based Learning Specialist Travis Cook will answer audience questions about alternative career pathways in Utah.

TOOELE HIGH STUDENTS can CLEAR UP TO 2 U’s by attending this UEN film screening at the library on Thursday, April 25 (6:00 – 7:30 pm)
This is a fantastic, simple opportunity to get great information, have some treats, and clear your transcript.

Clear 1 U for the student attending.
Clear another U if your parent attends with you.
Must attend entire 90 minute event for U’s to be cleared.
Film may be viewed online however U’s will only be cleared for attendance at the library event.

Babysitter Boot Camp (Build a Business)

Learn the ins and outs of starting your own babysitting business. Learn how to market your business, best practices, basic first aid, and what to do while you’re babysitting. You’ll leave with a babysitter boot camp kit full of information to become a successful babysitting entrepreneur. Pizza will be provided.
