Help our library build our public art display!
Submit a rock that you have decorated for our rock garden. Open to all ages.
Themes for entry are: Book characters, Inspirational, “Libraries Rock”, or original design.
Decorated Rocks will be accepted for contest judging from June 1 – 30, 2018.
Additional rocks can be submitted at any time July 1 – 31 just for fun and inclusion in our public art display.

Share your love of art and music in our Summer Art Contest. Submit your original artwork, in any medium. Show the world how music moves you!

Entries on public display in the Library through July 31, 2018.

Learn to dance like the stars! Whether you want to improve to your ballroom skills or if you’ve never danced before, this basic ballroom class is for you. We plan to cover basic steps from the waltz, cha-cha, and swing. Bring your own partner.

Joshua Creek
Known for their story songs and soaring vocals, Joshua Creek has released 6 CDs in the last 13 years, receiving local and regional airplay throughout the United States. They’ve performed in front of a quarter million people, mostly here in Utah. Their song, “What Kinda Car,” hit No. 1 on the Christian-Country charts in the south and their new releases, “Promise You’ll Stay,” and “I Fly a Little” are heard on Sunday radio shows in the Rocky Mountain states. Plein Air Draw or Paint and Photography
The Tooele City Arts Council invites all artists to participate in the 6th Annual Tooele Plein Air Art Contest, starting Monday, the 11th of June.
“Plein Air” means “in the open air” and artists are encouraged to do just that – get out of the studio and create some beautiful artwork of Tooele County.
The contest begins on Monday, June 11, 2018. All ages and experience level of artists are invited to participate.
Art work will be turned in and judged on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.
All art is on sale and displayed during the Tooele Arts Festival.

Help your children learn ways to say “NO” to problem behaviors and still feel accepted by their peers.
Children attend this session with their parents.
Session Four
Managing Conflict 
Increase effective family communication, reduce anger and prevent alcohol use and problem behaviors.
Session Five
Involving Everyone 
Expand children’s roles and responsibilities in the family and help your child see their importance in your family circle.
The fun, interactive sessions help to improve family communication and bonding. Practical methods are learned to reduce arguing and help avoid problem behaviors. The result is a more communicative and compassionate home where all family members are involved.
