Introduction to Microsoft Word. Part 1

Welcome to free ENRICH computer courses from the Library!

Want to use a computer to compose letters or stories? Microsoft Word is a popular tool for these tasks. In this course, you will learn valuable word processing skills like how to: create save, find, and edit documents; insert, delete, and format text.

(Prior experience with computers and an understanding of the Windows operating system is necessary to succeed in this course. Need more experience first? Ask us about other free computer classes available @ your Library.) 

  • Enrich classes are specifically designed for adult learners.
  • You’ll receive a free workbook in each class.
  • A computer is provided during class.
  • Pre-registration is required at the library.
  • All courses are free of charge.
  • Instructors & small classes = Success!

Kids 18 and younger can have a nutritious afternoon snack free of charge at the Library three days a week. No registration is required. A partnership with Utah Food Bank.

T.H.S. Drama presents “Shrek the Musical”

Shrek the Musical 2018The Tooele High School Theatre Department proudly presents “Shrek The Musical”.

Performances: February 26th, 27th, 28th, March 1st, 2nd , 3rd, and 5th at 7 p.m. each night.

Saturday, March 3rd matinee performance at 1:00 p.m.

Ticket Prices:

Adults:  $7.00

Student/Child/Senior:  $5.00 ($1 discount for children in costume)

Tickets may be purchased at the box office or call 435-833-1978 ext. 2189 to reserve seats.

Wiggle Worms is an interactive story time program using the 7 days 7 ways principles from Very Ready to Read.

Designed for 2 – 3 year old children. Seating is limited. Arrive Early. 

This program is repeated 3 times and begins when full or at 10:30, 11:00, 11:30.

Adulting 101: Healthy Dating Relationships

Adulting 101 is a series designed especially for emerging adults to gain life skills to successfully navigate and create an awesome adulthood.

This month, Mike Sitton from Healthy Relationships Utah will share skills to help you build a healthy relationship with that special someone.

Space is limited. For people ages 13 to 21.

 

Home Run Dads – a FREE Course!

Home Run Dads February 2018Attend a FREE research-based 5-week parenting course for fathers and father figures!

Learn how to knock it out of the park with your kids!  The Home Run Dads course teaches relationship, parenting, and job readiness skills around a baseball theme, where fathers are the coaches, and kids are the players.

Food provided at each session.
