Story time is a preschool program using the 7 days 7 ways principles from Very Ready to Read.
Microsoft Excel Course – 3 parts (Digital Me)

This free course teaches Microsoft Excel basics. Excel is a spreadsheet program that helps you manage numbers. It is frequently used in today’s workplace. Once you begin to understand the basics, you will find it is an easy and fun application to use.
(Prior experience with computers and an understanding of the Windows operating system is necessary to succeed in this course. Need more experience first? Ask us about other free computer classes available @ your Library.) 

Digital Me classes are designed for adult learners.
You’ll receive a free workbook in each class.
A computer is provided during class.
Instructors & small classes = Success!
Registration is required.

A little too cold to play outside? Join us on Google Meet for some indoor snow activities.
This virtual activity is designed to get you and your toddler moving. For added fun, gather these items for each person before you join: 2 tissues or scarves, 2 paper plates for ice skates, and one piece of paper for a snowball. Designed for ages 3-6. Registration required. This program is held in a Google Meet room.

Dow James Building is Open for Walking

NOTICE: THE DOW JAMES BUILDING  WILL NOT BE OPEN IN JANUARY.  We are redoing the flooring in the Dow James Building. This project includes  the removal of the existing flooring system in the building and installation of approximately 77,000 s.f. of new synthetic athletic flooring. We  apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience during this project!

Come in from the cold!  The Dow James Building is available for walking most weekday mornings Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. from October 15th through April 15th.  This is a great service available during the winter months that we hope our residents will take advantage of and enjoy!  Questions? Call Tooele City Parks and Recreation at 435.843.2143.

All are welcome! Strollers permissible. Bikes and scooters not allowed.

Please note that the building may not be available some mornings due to rentals/events.

Leap into Learning: Early Literacy Program Series
Feb 1 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Leap Into Learning is an Early Literacy virtual program for children ages 3-5 years old.
This class meets weekly in a virtual setting for songs, stories, literacy skills and learning fun.
To participate, you’ll need internet access and a device with a camera and microphone.
This class is 6-weeks long with one virtual session per week on Tuesdays at 10:00 or 11:00 a.m. beginning January 4, 2022 and ending on February 8, 2022.
You will need to pick up your very own Leap Into Learning literacy kit with the supplies you’ll need for the 6 sessions on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
You will receive an email with login information and program information following registration. Space is limited. Register early.

Guiding Good Choices FREE Parenting & Family Workshops

Guiding Good Choices Workshop Series

Guiding Good Choices™ is a series of workshops (5 two-hour sessions) for families with children 9-17 years old.

The fun, interactive sessions help to improve family communication and bonding.  Practical methods are learned to reduce arguing and help avoid problem behaviors.  The result is a more communicative and compassionate home where all family members are involved.

Families who complete the workshop will earn a $50 gift card!
