Fiber Optics is Coming to Tooele!
Fiber Optic internet is coming to Tooele, Utah, brining high-speed internet, voice service and streaming TV to residents and businesses. Tooele joins several other communities in providing All West Communications fiber optic internet to the whole City.
Come celebrate the kick-off of this important project at a groundbreaking event Tuesday, March 7 at 2pm at Tooele Technical College, 2nd Floor lobby.
According to recent data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Tooele grew 31% over the last decade and continues to grow! The City's growth is supported by the forward-looking vision of the City Council and City Leaders who are committed to creating a place where residents can experience improved levels of service and technological advances.
Access to high-speed internet is necessary to achieve the goals of the City and attract the jobs of the future where the technology can help improve lives and strengthen the community.
"All West fiber in Tooele is a critical addition to our infrastructure," said Tooele Mayor Debbie Winn. "I'm excited for the many new opportunities ahead for families and businesses, and the positive ripple effect fiber optic will have on our continued growth and economic development."
City Council and City Leaders are working with All West Communications to provide digital access across the City. All West will be building its network widely across the community, with the goal of serving as many Tooele residents and businesses as possible.

Construction will begin in early march with anticipated plans to complete the network build in 2024. Once complete, All West will offer multi-gig internet service options to the community.
