Front of NEW Police Station - April 2020Our new building is complete and fortunately for us and for very timely planning, we received temporary occupancy for our new police station the day before the earthquake occurred on March 18, 2020! As a result of the earthquake on March 18th there were concerns over the structural integrity of our old police station and we were able to move to our new police station, located at 50 North Garden Street, earlier than expected.

Due to COVID-19 and the limiting of public gatherings, we were unable to hold our ribbon cutting for the new police station on April 6, 2020 as was previously announced, but we will hold a public open house when we are able to do so.

On Wednesday, April 3, 2019, Tooele City Mayor Debbie Winn, Tooele City Council Members Brad Pratt, Dave McCall, Melodi Gochis, Scott Wardle, and Council Chair Steve Pruden, along with Police Chief Ron Kirby broke ground at 70 North Garden Street to begin construction on a new Tooele City Police Station!  Check back periodically for updates!
