Shawn Rapier has entertained audiences all over the world for the past 20 years. His show is like no other. He combines stand-up comedy with improvisation and audience participation. He has performed for companies such as Novell, General Motors, Apple and more. He has also starred in films, television, and his comedy DVDs have sold over 20,000 copies. Matt Codina and the Glyders were formed in the fall of 2011 by front man Matthew Codina.The self-taught Codina began playing guitar and quickly formed a love for the Rock and Roll and Rockabilly styles of the 1950’s.In this style the trio was formed with Matt Codina on the rocking Gretsch Guitar and vocals. Dallon Smith on the upright slap bass and vocals and Jay Tibbitts on thundering drums. Included in their set you will find traditional 1950’s rockabilly, rock and roll, western swing, traditional country, blues and perhaps even some jazz. Driving out hard-swinging danceable rhythms, virtuosic playing and immaculate dress and style. Matt Codina and the Glyders will put on a high energy show that is guaranteed to entertain and excite crowds from the biggest arena to the smallest stage.
Beats, guitars, bass, vocals. How can all these sounds be generated by just one guy? For the last 4 years, Preston Pugmire has been entertaining audiences all over the US with his looping performance.
Electronic floor pedals allow Preston to record anything he plays live, and then layer multiple sounds on top of it, creating an entire song from scratch. He does this right in front of the crowd while keeping them completely engaged and involved.
Preston was recently voted 2013’s Best Music Performer or the entire college circuit by Campus Activities Magazine!
This concert is part of the City’s 4th of July celebration. This concert (and all the Fridays on Vine Concerts) are sponsored by the Tooele City Arts Council and funded by the Parks Arts and Recreation (PAR) Program. Get your $5 tickets at City Hall or Macey’s. This concert will be held at the Tooele High School Football Field. Gates open at 7 p.m. The concert will start at 8 p.m. Fireworks to follow!
Grantsville-based band, Kindle Creek, formed in May 2009 and is made up of hard working, everyday guys who love to play music. The band writes all of their own original music, which has wowed audiences throughout the Inter-mountain West. Kindle Creek has crafted a unique style of country-rock music that hits home with a wide range of listeners. The band has garnered both local and national attention as 2011 Stadium of Fire finalists, 2012 Utah state winners of the Texaco Country Showdown, MTV’s OurStage “Best of Country” finalists and Intel’s cross-genre “Best New Artist” finalists. Kindle Creek is comprised of Dillon Hurst (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Joseph Shumway (fiddle, mandolin, vocals), Bryce Jensen (drums), David Crowley (lead guitar) and Mical Bracken (bass guitar). They provide a high-energy show fit for all ages filled with both original music and cover tunes that will send you home tapping your feet!

The Red Desert Ramblers play Bluegrass, Classic Country and Swing music blending harmonies with smoking instrumental breaks.
The Salt Lake Tribune says, “when it comes to locally produced bluegrass bands, it’s hard to do better.”
They have been honored by the International Bluegrass Music Association by being the first Utah Band (and Sharon is the first hammered dulcimer player) to EVER be hired for an IBMA performance and were the only bluegrass band featured at the Mountain West Conference of the Arts. Members have won several awards including Sharon as best Utah dulcimer player and Rick Martinez as best banjo player for IAMA.
They are a regional band with national recognition and members hail from Salt Lake, and Summit counties representing the best of Utah.

Bent Fender formed about 4 years ago and have played in the Salt Lake City area during that time. Their music is a combination of rock, folk, blues and country with a common threat of roots running through it. There set lists include songs by Eric Clapton, Creedence Clearwater Revival, BB King, The Beatles, Vince Gill, Crosby Stills and Nash, Roy Orbison, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Dire Straits, the Allman Brothers, John Mellencamp, and the list goes on. The band consists of Rick Blake, Tooele, guitar and vocals, Ben Blake, Lake Pointe, keyboards, Kim Carter, Erda, guitar and vocals, Dave Neira, Salt Lake City, Drums, and Vince Vargas, Tooele, bass and vocals. All have been playing their instruments since their early teenage years and have played in bands off and on for over 40 years.
Exit 99 is a group of local musicians who love to entertain. As a Country Cover Band they mix the new sounds of country music with the old; making it a show you won’t want to miss. Each member of the band has been performing in the music industry for decades. In 2012 they decided to combine their talents and love for music, and form Exit 99. The band members are as follows: Chelci Nix Holste on lead vocals and rhythm guitar; David Beacham on lead and bass guitar, mandolin, and rhythm guitar; Tom Slowik on bass and rhythm guitar, mandolin, and vocals; Bruce Simon on keyboard; and Dave Royal on the drums.
The Cadillacs A’capella, a 5 member singing group, has been performing around the intermountain west for the past 23 years. The group originated in 1989 when members brought their considerable talents together to sing the great old “Doo Wop” songs of the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. Since those earliest days, and after several changes in group members, the Cadillacs have branched out to include other musical genres. Songs in the current show include big band hits from the 1930’s and 40’s, a medley of songs from “Queen”, some light Jazz, and an extraordinary medley and tribute to “The Beatles.” The Cadillacs have performed all over the intermountain west from Las Vegas to Steamboat Springs; from Salt Lake City to Phoenix and just about every small town and large city in Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, and Nevada. The Cadillacs’ show is fast paced and laced together with humor and audience participation. The group’s unique sound and musical selection connects with audiences young and old.
“ONE” is a classic rock, pop, R&B, and a little bit country band with six members. We love to play at outdoor venues in the summer! We are all from the Salt Lake valley area and we’ve recently played at American Fork Concert in the Park, Taylorsville Dayzz, Weber County Fair, Utah State Fair, Draper Days, Orem Summerfest, Orem Concert in the Park, Utah County Fair and a bunch of other affairs too!
