Notice of Real Property Sale
Tooele City Corporation is soliciting bids for the purchase of 31 acres of city-owned property zoned for single-family residential development, located on Skyline Drive in Tooele City. Sealed bids, including a REPC offer, will be accepted in the Tooele City Recorder’s Office at 90 North Main Street through 12:00 p.m. on Monday April 30, 2018. The property will be sold “as is” as a subdivided parcel of approximately 31.9 acres. The property is zoned for 12,000 square-foot minimum residential lots and is subject to the site requirements and limitations of Tooele City Ordinance 2008-02, the Sensitive Area Overlay, and the Tooele City Code. Any development proposal for the property must connect to existing adjacent street stubs, must protect existing historic storm water drainages, and must maintain access to and easements for existing public utility infrastructure. A bid packet will be emailed to those requesting it from the City Recorder’s Office at 843-2110. The property does not include water rights or entitlements. The minimum acceptable bid is $575,000, payable in cash at closing. Closing to occur by June 15, 2018. Tooele City reserves the right to reject any and all bids for good cause.
