Do you plan to light fireworks on New Years Eve?

Tooele City would like to wish everyone a Happy and Safe New Year!

By Utah State Law you are allowed to light fireworks on December 31st (December 31st 11 a.m. – 1 a.m. on January 1st) in celebration of New Year’s Eve and the New Year. The same restrictions that were in place during the 4th of July and 24th of July are still in place.  Residents who live in restricted areas may go to Dow James Park or Elton Park to light their fireworks; however, keep in mind that the parks close at 11:00 p.m. so no one is allowed in the parks after that time.

Enjoy and be safe!
