Setting Up New Utility Service

Welcome to Tooele City! We hope you enjoy our beautiful City’s scenery, service and quality of life.  To obtain utility services for water, sewer, garbage and storm water from Tooele City, local customers must come into our office.

NOTICE:  Notice to Property Owners regarding New Utility Account Setup Procedures

Utility Fee Schedule

Set Up Fee:
A $30.00 set up fee will be billed on the 1st bill for new accounts.
This fee is a one-time, non-refundable fee for all new accounts.

You will need to bring the following information to our office to initiate your service:

• Driver’s License or Picture Identification Card
• Proof of Purchase and Copy of the Closing Documents or Proof of Ownership (i.e. Tax Notice, etc.)
• $20.00 Security Deposit (refundable on the final bill when the account is closed)

If you are unable to come into our office to establish services, you can set up your Tooele City account by mail.  Please fill out the Tooele City Corporation Meter Deposit Record form (shaded areas), sign the initiating signature, and have the document notarized.   You will need to mail in the following information:

• Meter Deposit Record – Filled Out, Signed and Notarized
• $20.00 Security Deposit
• Proof of Purchase and Copy of the Closing Documents or Proof of Ownership (i.e. Tax Notice, etc.)
